Agree. They have lost to very talented teams. Would you like to see them win those games? Of course. However, it's too early to write these guys off. This team is too talented and although people are down in them now this coaching staff I believe can turn this around. Don't fold the tent in the 3rd quarter!

The decision to leave Carlton Davis on an island with Hill was a bad one. It became even worse when #24 got scorched for about 200 yards in one quarter, and Bowles still refused to switch up the coverage.
The Saints and Rams games showed the same stubborn coaching. Stuck in zone schemes and got picked apart.
Whatever Bowles comes up with the during the week - that's what he is sticking with on game day - no matter what.
As for the offense, Leftwich is in over his head and Arians is even more stubborn than Bowles.

We played the reining Super Bowl Champions who have lost like 1 game in the past 19 or 20, and lost by 3 points.  How did you think this would play out?

    It is getting painful again.
Our D is good but the CBs suck. They play way to soft and wont leave zone when it simple to see the QB looking at the hole with their receiver heading right there. Should have been int;s left and right.
Then theirs Brady, not sure what his problem is. He's missing open receivers all the time and those bombs are when the receiver is trip;e covered, duh.
Play calling sucks, seems to be same oh and I;m sure all the other teams are seeing it.

All I;m hoping for is no more loses for Xmas
    Oh, Happy Thanksgiving to all

Nah, not a pussy. Nothing has been thinly veiled. You just don't seem to post as often, or perhaps you're the one that's butt hurt.
And if you want, I'll be more direct. You're a fucking moron if you don't think the coaching staff has sucked out loud for the better part of a month. Started with the Giants game and its been an issue ever since. The Saints game the most notable example. Instead you tried to show how smart you are, or aren't, by hanging your hat on 'the team didn't show up.'
    Fuck you.
    That better?

Considering the same personnel gagged up an 18 point lead and let Daniel Jones run in untouched from 10 yards out on 4th down late in the game,  I hope they leave the defensive starters in the whole game. This is going to be a much tougher game than people expect.   It’s the kind that the Bucs play down to their competition in.
We’ll see if another corner has been turned or not.

At least the injuries are to the deepest groups on the team (TE, WR) and then Vita.  If any of the OL starters goes down, Brady will be in a body bag and Bung Goober will lose the rest of the games. God forbid any of the starting DBs gets injured, Ryan Smith anyone?

I love Godwin.....really do......but man, he has to find a way to work through some of these injuries he's having. He's been injured more than he's been on the field. The problem is that the Bucs need him on the field. Hopefully, he gets well enough to play quickly and the team continues to develop the younger guys and role players to more prominent roles if necessary.

I love this WR group. Scotty Miller is such a gamer. If these guys can get to full health and Brown clicks with the locker room and Brady this passing game can be truly special. The run blocking was not good today though.
Defensively Is like to see them be more aggressive at times to take away the short pass but they were above average today especially in the second half. Edwards and Winfield are turning into elite safeties.

Dungy saw the Bears game and basically said, the only kryptonite for Brady is if the opposing defense can be effective applying pass rush with only four.  Bears were. Saints were. Two Bucs losses. There it is.

Jensen is fine. Dong is probably the most overpaid LT in the NFL. Yes he can do ok for some stretches but hen has a mini seizure and looks like a quadriplegic for a quarter, ruining the game. (See Bears game)

He will almost surely not be getting paid that money next year.  He’s surely proven he doesn’t deserve it. I’m waiting for Brady to light him up. Next time he matadors a guy, say it’s Cleveland Ferrell. Brady needs to get up Dongs ass with a fire stick.

The only two lineman you notice are Jensen and Smith. Jensen, for doing some nonsense after the play and getting flagged. But Brady loves the guy and he's probably a good source on the subject of o-lineman. Then there's Smith.

Marpet is having an All Pro type year.
The Bucs have 3 games out of 6 where they've given up zero sacks. Zilch...Nada. I'd say that's pretty darn good.
The GB oline is considered by many as the best in football, and the Bucs defense had 6 sacks and pressured Rodgers almost everytime he dropped back.
Wonder if the GB goobers think they're oline is horrid or maybe they understand in the NFL all olines and OTs have games where they struggle.
The Bucs oline struggled opening day in NO and the 2nd half against the Bears. Other than that they've been really good this year.
    Go Bucs

PFF ratings are up there with power rankings.
I've noticed Wirfs once this season - against the Bears when he had some issues with Khalil Mack. Otherwise, you don't know he's out there. That's the best grade a lineman could have.
As for Smith, for what the Bucs are paying and considering he's protecting the GOAT's blind side, he's fucking horrid.

Rodgers going against Bowles is blood bath type stuff.
Very underwhelmed with this defense so far. Other than locking down Jeff Driskell for a half, they've been pedestrian at best. That would be fine if we were talking about the 2007 version of Tom Brady. But we're not.

I am thinking the defensive game plan they had when Foles played for the Jaguars last year.  The D beat him up so bad that the stache had to go in the game to replace him. That game pretty much told Jacksonville they made a huge mistake signing him.

Well regardless -- Dong Smith is 5th out of the 5 starters in terms of performance and in terms of dollar value is the lousiest deal out of the 5.
Wirfs played some LT in college, and the way he just cam e in without spring OTAs, minicamps, no preseason games, I'm sure he could make the transition to LT no problem. So when they release Dong after this season, drafting another OT from college and signing a veteran FA seems like the most probable scenario. Dong is too expensive for the "meh" he puts out there and I'm expecting another lapse against Khalil Mack. Hopefully the big oaf doesn't get TB killed.
I will vomit if I have to see Blowme Goobert behind center.

Zero sacks on a 43 year old statue yesterday- I would say the O line has been performing exceptionally well.  They were not bad last year either, the QB just held the ball too long.

At 305, Cappa is undersized for a OT but better for an OG as they usually have to pull on running plays. I remember as an OT he was considered a reach as a third round pick as he was evaluated as a 5th round pick but that was at OT.

Wirfs was an excellent draft choice. I thought he would be gone by the time the Bucs came up on the board, and was ecstatic when he wasn't.
I've been saying it for several years now - Donovan Smith absolutely sucks. If he isn't holding, he is false-starting. If he isn't doing that, he's getting beat by defenders. The guy is terrible on the outside. If they can keep Jensen from fighting every other play (LOL I do like that about him) and drawing penalties, Smith is far and wide the worst O-Lineman right now........as many have stated.......time and time again.
