This is why we can’t have nice things.

It's such a small thing, and it's the fastest route to NFL football, concerts, bars and restaurants, and oh yeah - slowing the death toll way down.

The people who put the economy over the human toll should be the first ones saying let's wear masks, because that's the only way this goes away.  We all have to get in the same boat for a few months and stick with it.

The whole idea of national sacrifice has gone by the boards, swept away in a wave of personal entitlement.  Americans haven't had to sacrifice since WWII and even then our level of sacrifice was tiny compared to that of our Allies.  Historically, we're still an infant nation.  On matters of personal entitlement, we're  a nation of infants.

Agreed.  I call it Civic Rot.

I read a quote that goes something like this...

Strong people create great times.  Great times create weak people.  Weak people create troubled times.  Troubled times create strong people.  Strong people create great times.  Repeat.

We're in the bolded part.

I don't get it. The same people bitching about the shutdown are now bitching about masks. If we took masks, the shutdown, social distancing serious enough in the first place, we would have better control over the spread by now and could open up by now. Instead the covidiots ruined it for all of us. And trump goes from trump to DiSantis on down to our local mayors and the antimaskers. Idiots, all of them.

Then we have this knucklehead running around from county to county threatening to sue counties which have instituted mask orders. No wonder the lower IQ feel they don't have to mask up for the benefit of anyone else. After all...Rep Sabatini said we don't have to.

The Georgia guv has taken the same approach, suing the city of Atlanta over their mask mandate .

His reasoning - that responsible people don't need a mandate to do the right thing.

The flaw in his logic - this country is overrun with irresponsible people.

The governor of Georgia, for example.

An old Gatorade bottle is much cheaper.  It means you have to fumble your dick out while you drive, but who among us hasn't done that?

Ever since the vasectomy my dick’s like a turtle afraid to come out of its shell. Unless invited by a nice kitty. Like that happens.

So so I have an “inny.”

Hence the need for Depends.
