Offseason predictions/plan

This would be crazy. Bucs sign Bridgewater. Saints sign Winston to back up Brees for a year and then take over.

Jameis to the Saints, Bridgewater to the Bucs?

It would be the most Bucs thing ever if this happened, Payton fixed Jameis, and Jameis came back and killed us twice a season for the next 8-10 seasons.

So the team with the 4th least amount of cap space in the NFL (9 million) is going to sign Brees (30 mil plus), resign Hill AND then sign Winston as a backup?

Okey dokey.

Curious to hear what others would do this offseason in FA and draft to put this team over the top and in the playoffs.

Defense:

Resign both Barrett and JPP.

Let Nassib and Suh test the market and reevaluate after the draft if they're still available.

Sign a FA safety like Geathers or Ward.

Offense:

Offer Winston a 2-3 year deal worth about 20 mil per with incentives and outs each year.

Guard Brandon Scherff would be my big offseason target. Instantly would upgrade the interior oline and run game. Allows Cappa to provide depth at both guard spots.

Draft a RT in round one. This draft is loaded with talented OTs. Andrew Thomas would be a good get at 14.

Draft a RB in round 2. Clyde or Dobbins would be great fits.

Use the rest of the draft on the front 7.

Winston idea sounds good since there are not any really good fresh qb's this year.  More offensive linemen, too. Teach our wide receivers how to get truly open, not look open with a spy setting the wr up.
