Pham delivers walkoff single in the 10th. Rays win their 5th straight.

It was a bad play that cost them a run but it made the loss 4-2 instead of 3-2. Rays are just not hitting. They only scored two runs in game 2 as well but the relievers threw a shut out. Given how every team wears out Orioles pitching, it is pathetic hitting.

2 other games that night show how other teams come back. White Sox against Cleveland gave up a three run homer to fall behind 5-2 in the bottom of the 7th. Top of the 8th White Soxs with nothing to play for hit a three run homer to tie and a solo homer to go ahead and win. Indians have one of the best pitching staffs in the AL but you would not know by how they played against the Rays and White Soxs. Even worse, ex Ray Colome who lost his closer run in Seattle and then was traded to Chicago got the save! He put the Indians best hitters down like they were nothing.

The best comeback was the Nationals against the Mets. The bullpen of the Nationals gave up 5 runs and took a narrow 5-4 deficit and made it 10-4 in the 9th. No problem. In the bottom of the 9th the Nations score 7 runs (only one out) and win in walkoff fashion. Three relievers in the top of the gave up 5 runs in the top of the 9th to get 3 outs but were outdone by a Mets bullpen in the bottom of the 9th that gave up 7 runs and only one out.
