Greg Spires as a Former Patriot??????

Recommended Posts

This franchise is so bad that we can not get credit for our former scumbags. Spires played most of his 10 year career with the Buccaneers (6 of the 10). Yes he was drafted by NE but he was there for 3 years and was cut by NE. His only significant accomplishments came as a player was with the Bucs in the 2002 playoffs and Super Bowl. The Bucs were the only team that ever gave him an extended second contract. He is our jerk. He is our stalker and domestic violence abuser damnit. Next time Sapp does something stupid, is he going to be listed as an ex Raider? it is an outrage!

Authorities in New Hampshire say a former player for the New England Patriots has been arrested in the state's capital city for violating a protective order.

The Concord Monitor reports 44-year-old Greg Spires of Cyprus, Texas, will remain in jail through the weekend. Spires has been charged with misdemeanor stalking and is being held without bail in advance of a Monday district court arraignment.

Spires was a defensive end in the National Football League who played in three seasons for the Patriots from 1998 to 2000. He remained in the NFL until 2007, playing in one season for the Cleveland Browns and six for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

New England can suck my man clam and take a load of chowda in the face. Fuck then. It is time for them to suffer like it’s the 80s or whenever it was that they approached Succaneer badness. What a bandwagoning cluster of front running fucksticks.  Belichode and Brady retire together, massage lover sells the team to the Chinese and 20 years of despondency ensues.

if only.

Out of curiousity, I wanted to see the last Buccaneer defensive player who recorded the last sack in a Buccaneer playoff game. It was Gaines Adams against the Giants. Strahan had the lone sack against the Bucs in that game. Gaines Adams trade with the Bears could have wound up with Gronk. Instead we traded from pick 43 to pick 39 to run the Benn around. The Raiders traded pick 43 to the Patriots. The Patriots got Gronk while the Bucs and the Raiders showed why they stink as a franchise.

That's fuckin delightful news. Of course.

But if Gronk were a Buc they would have insisted on using him as the in line blocking TE and he never would have had the hall of fame career with Happy Feet, then Boron and Joshy, then McClown and Lurch, throwing to him.

If the Bucs had drafted Gronk, they would have tried him out at kicker.

Undoubtedly he wouldn't have been worse at kicking than the douchebags Lorcht and Domoronik paraded through One Suc Place. So there is that glimmer of less negative.
