We are getting rid of Dickerson and Odorizzi for failures

Recommended Posts

Ok, flip side. As hot as Dickerson was in getting and keeping us in contention prior to the All-Star break, he disappeared afterward. On most other rotations Odo is a 4th starter with very little room to get better. The moves they have made are consistent with what they have done since becoming the Rays, so let’s set aside the football style rhetoric. More moves are likely to come, let’s see who steps up.

So in other words, the Rays blow even worse than the Bucs.

Single A shortstop prospect for a 4th starting pitcher is done only by a team desperate to cut payroll. If they want to make money with a single A prospect, might as well get Tebow from the Mets and confess to the tanking.
