Bucs Just Fired Hayes

Recommended Posts

Looks like the DL coach has been axed. . . not all that surprising and I hope a few others get canned as well.
This could all be about CYA for Koetter and Smitty - but geeez. .  you just cant go into another season without making a few changes.
You just cant  :facepalm  :facepalm

Geez are you always this grumpy in the morning   LOL

Question is - Why did they wait sooo long to do this??? - Most good position coaches have already been gobbled up it would seem by now.

I'll point out that Jay Hayes was thought of as a good DL coach when hired.

yup - heard the same thing - I just think they have to shuffle the deck a little going into a win now type of season

Just not sure if I trust this coaching staff and FO enough right now to make any bold moves (the right ones anyway) to get this team back on track.

Maybe his porn addiction got in the way of his coaching commitments. At this point, I know I would be confused when trying to coach a 3 technique to fill the A gap.

OL coach Foerster had a porn addiction.

Oddly enough, sources close to the Bucs say Hayes had some obsessive issues. One of which could be considered a corn addiction. And it was not only unusual but likely carnal and unnatural.

Uncovered Twitter messages revealed a pattern of surreptitious arrangements and meetings with suppliers as well as video of the coach hamfisting several ears. An investigation was done that turned up dozens of cobs and remnants of butter quarter wrappings inside One Buc.

While the full extent of the abuse has not been revealed he is said to have "looked that goat in the eye" and will seek professional help.

Really?

What the hell is wrong with that?

WTF is going on in this country!

RF -- 63 and I probably drank too much scotch and were hyperbolizing different scenarios. Or something.  Hays got fired because apparently a defensive line that can't use its DEs to sack the quarterback sucks. And the dimwits at One Buc Sucks just figured out who was supposed to be their D-line coich.

Vomitous. The fuckers are vomitous.

The Bengals' defensive line certainly validated that thought. I don't think the guy suddenly forgot how to coach. Never had much talent or depth with the Bucs. Which to me begs the question, if Hayes isn't viewed as victim of circumstance, why does Mike Smith seem to have that luxury?

I still say it was because of his corn addiction. We could find he was living separately from his wife and seeing enablers on the side, spending voluminous amounts on twisted depravity, and owing hundreds of thousands in back taxes just like Foerster.

No wonder the defensive line sucked.

Mike Smith has been seen riding with kids on school buses. His computer and office needs to be checked out immediately.

Moe is running the show there at One Buc.
