Josh McDaniels pulls a Parcells on the Colts

Recommended Posts

Irsay is bringing a truckload of hookers to Ann Arbor to blow Jim Harbaugh until he says yes to the Colts’ coaching job.  Even then it’s unlikely Jim Harbaugh takes the job.

Actually, Jason Licht should call Irsay and tell him that Mike Smith is a great fit for the Indy head coaching job. :thumbsup

Parcells

Well, not exactly.  Parcells decided he rather just not coach.

Oh, and just a reminder.....For anyone who claims that the team Gruden received wasn't in cap hell: the main reason Parcells passed is that he looked at our salary cap situation and said f this.

That was the 2nd time Parcells apparently had a deal worked out and passed. He left Culverhouse at the alter once before that. He would've sucked. It's some kind of law of physics or such.

I would say it is more in line with Kraft guaranteed him the reigns of the team in 2019.

Maybe, but if Belichick is gone, then Brady is gone, then you’re massive draw for free agents is gone and the decline begins.

If Luck is healthy, in my mind Indianapolis is a better job.

You are absolutely correct, but I still believe it has to do with coaching the Patriots more than sticking it to the Colts or Luck's shoulder.

Pretty sure the told him he will be next in line, which makes sense for the Patriots. This means nothing will change it will be what they have done for years promoted within. Think about since Wise and Crennel left all they have done is promoted the next man up.

He's the coach in waiting. Better hope that he gets that job soon or otherwise, his career's just about over. No other team will hire him after that little stunt.

Especially when he takes over for Belicheat after he and Brady haul ass and goes back to back 4-12.
