Isn't this about the time we hear from Talbuc with an in-depth analysis?

I was thinking this ( hoping actually ) just the other day.
Talbuc's analysis is always welcome.

I played the simulator using a Composite Big Board and NFL Mock draft needs. This is what I came up with:

R1P19: (WR) Corey Davis - WESTERN MICHIGAN
R2P18: (CB) Adoree' Jackson - USC
R3P20: (S) Justin Evans - TEXAS A&M
R4P18: (OL) Pat Elflein - OHIO STATE
R5P18: (TE) Jeremy Sprinkle - ARKANSAS
R6P20: (RB) De'angelo Henderson - COASTAL CAROLINA
R7P19: (DE) Dylan Donahue - WEST GEORGIA

I personally found rounds 4-7 to be the most difficult rounds to pick on this simulator using those particular criteria. If you look at draft grades on NFL.com, there isn't a big difference on many positions in the later rounds. I was happy with the first 3 picks......after that, ehhhh not so much.

This draft would be great. I keep seeing A. Jackson listed now as a first rounder which I don't get. The Bucs being linked to him concerns me more. Good player. Probable immediate impact in the return game(which for some reason does not consistently translate from college to pros) but raw as a CB to the point in which he may not play much year one. That's not a first rounder....particularly where the Bucs pick....to me. 2nd round makes much more sense.

You are dumb as shit, Shaboink. Shut up and post under your alter-stupidity.

And on topic, Charles Harris is good......no doubt about it, but if we are looking for a 1-2 round edge rusher, I am taking Derek Barnett over him all day long.

The way I figure when simulating this one, the Bucs would get one more WR weapon in Davis, another piece for the defensive secondary (which is much more needed than folks might think), the Safety that I am convinced we have to have in order to shore up that weak corps of personnel at the positions, an O-Lineman that isn't grading as high as I feel he played, a TE that will be serviceable to go along with Brate - and he also has a high ceiling in my opinion. Henderson and Donahue were the best left on the board when I drafted 6-7.....reading scouting reports on them, I think they could be really good depth and possibly even surprise.

I beat off all over the cereal on that one.

Yeah, I figured you would like the Davis pick LOL.

Adoree' Jackson shouldn't be a 1st rounder, but some team will probably grab him there. He is definitely a 2nd rounder and needs a year or so to work himself into the NFL as a starter in my opinion.

Corey Davis hasn't been talked about by anyone much on this board. Hasn't been any of the typical "he's rising" or "He's falling" type of bullshit in the media. Why? He hasn't been able to participate in offseason workouts because of his ankle injury and thus doesn't have any underwear stats to speak of. Impressive guy though. Great tape and comes accross as a mature well grounded individual.

Not sure if the Bucs would select a WR in round 1 this year but Davis is going to help somebody.
