One week to go and hardly an draft talk. At this point I miss the fishwrap! And did Talbuc get a real draft guru job? UGH!!

I posted this site here last year but here it is again.

http://fanspeak.com/ontheclock/

It's a mock draft simulator. Pick your team, number of rounds, big board, team needs, and start drafting. I've been using it for weeks and it has a wide range of where players might go but still fun to play with. Here is version of what I think the Bucs might do using the Composite big board and user voted team needs. I don't think the draft will play out this way and it's not really how I would draft, just how I think the Bucs might pick.

1: R1P19  TE O.J. HOWARD ALABAMA

2: R2P18  EDGE JORDAN WILLIS KANSAS STATE

3: R3P20 WR JUJU SMITH-SCHUSTER USC

4: R4P18  RB MARLON MACK SOUTH FLORIDA

5: R5P18  S TEDRIC THOMPSON COLORADO

6: R6P20  WR TRAVIS RUDOLPH FLORIDA STATE

7: R7P19  QB SETH RUSSELL BAYLOR

I certainly don't think Howard will make it to 19. While we really need TE depth, I'd rather not draft one this high anyway. Picks 3-5 are probably too low for all those players but the rest is ok. I don't think they will pick two WRs but there wasn't much to like in this simulated 6th round,

Try it see how you do. Or don't try it. But for the love of Dilfer, Dungy, and GruAllen, can we please crank up the draft talk??

I think you can take Howard out of that draft and move everyone up a round and you'd be accurate as far as rounds are concerned from the 2-4 round picks and they are by no means far fetched.

I don't think Willis is a first rounder. Other than that, I completely agree. It's just how one simulation played out.

I would beat off all over myself if we could get Harris in r2 and Reynolds in r4. But we need Corey fucking Davis in R1.

Dice my dick and mail it to Mike Smith. Maybe he can make a more attractive head out of it for himself.

The Kiper / McShay three round mock has Cook sliding into the second. Either a lot of talking heads are misinformed or Cook is this year's surprise slide. Still think it's the former.

No way Harris is there round 2.

I am not on the TE bandwagon for round 1, but I won't complain if it happens.

Cook has been all over the mocks this past week. He's been as high as 10 and as low as the 2nd round and everything in between. The real "X" factor in all of this is the teams with multiple first round picks (currently and possible future trades) as they can really gum up the works for predicting what's going to happen.

And then there's Cleveland......

It's a new day Bucs fans......

At picking at 19, there are too many viables to see who might be around that fits the Bucs needs. But I do enjoy reading everybody's theories.

Yep. No clue what's going to happen. The board will get jumbled up pretty good by the time the Bucs are up.

Yeah, they'd trade them all for a ham sandwich and a beer. And the ham sandwich have no cheese and the beer would turn out to be warm flat PBR.

Very unlikely scenarios here. Although I'd be happy with many of them.

Cleveland's been talking to the Jets about jumping up from #12 to #6. Browns like Trubisky, but won't take him #1 and don't feel confident that he'll be there at #12.

Corey Davis, dammit. Yes we have DeSean already, but adding Davis gives unprecedented depth and danger to the WR corps, something not seen since BJ was slinging the rock to Keyshawn, McCardell and Jurevicius with Karl the Truth there to add insult to injury.

Fan, That's about as likely as a threesome with Halle Berry and Marilyn Monroe.

Tundra, Lots of talk about Davis falling because he hasn't run and nobody has time on him. He's not on the list of players the Bucs have brought in for a visit. He might be there at 19 and the Bucs might pass on him. Prepare yourself man.
