The first game was fun to watch but last night was a reality check. This group still can not get on base with any consistency. Another season of many, many 3 runs or less scoring games. Boring and pitching will burn out by mid August.

Rays win 4-1. They take the series 2 to 1. Both the Yankees and Rays really went to their bullpen. No runs for either team after the second inning.

Weird night when a turtle like Norris steals a base easily and Kiermaier gets thrown out.

With all his hustle and speed He sucks at stealing, he got a lazy start.

Impressive win last night. They knocked out the Jays ace Liriano and scored 10 runs to win a tight one. Big mistake by Toronto to put Howell out there.

Rays win 3-2 in 11 innings. I thought they were going to lose when Archer was allowed to pitch the 8th inning. Yet they knotted the score in the 8th inning and win it with a bases loaded walk in the 11th inning.

Yeah, a walk off walk! But what preceded the walk speaks volumes. The Jays intentionally walked Dickerson and Kiermaier to load the bases in order to pitch to Longoria. That he struck out only added to the insult.

Wow a 7-2 win after a bad 2-0 start. Jake is unhittable after the first inning while the bullpen follows up with 3 scoreless innings.

Best start in Rays history at 5 dash 2 (uh oh where have we heard that record before Bucs fans?) :)

Now on to New York and a chance to stick and early dagger in a struggling divisional team in their home opener.

Why in the world is that game played tomorrow in the afternoon with a day off the next day on Tuesday? Common for opening day since only a few teams play but this does not make much sense.

Both teams will be travelling today but is Monday afternoon a better day than Tuesday afternoon. Rays will leave NY Thursday night and play 4 straight games starting Friday and ending with the Boston marathon game on Monday.

With no Lightning hockey playoffs to watch this spring, all the focus of Tampa Bay sports fans will be on the Rays until Bucs training camp. Something the Rays haven't had to deal with for the past four years. Last 2 games in NY have exposed their warts. Could be a long 100 days till training camp starts :facepalm

A very disappointing road trip, 1-6. The worst part is that the Rays pitching allowed 37 hits the last three games. Granted Boston is a great hitting team but 37 hits! I always heard that good pitching beats good hitting. We sure did not get good pitching. it is going to be a very loooong season if this continues.

Austin Pruitt is in wayyyyy over his head, yet Cash keeps running him out there. There HAS to be someone in Durham better than this guy. It doesn't help that Boxberger is hurt again and Xavier Cedeno sucks and is the only lefty in the bull pen but they better fix this pen fast or we will be buried by May Day. With Odorizzi going on the DL, more will be expected out of the pen since Ramirez has to leave the pen to become a starter.

Bad team, bad management.

Agree that it is a bad team. Management has to figure out how to identify and develop position players. They do a good job with the pitchers

Longoria has hit into more clutchless double plays and strike outs on this road trip

The one that turned my stomach was the other night with a men on 1st and 3rd with no outs situation.. Keirmeir struck out LOOKING, Longoria struck out LOOKING and then Miller I believe dribbled meekly back to the pitcher. That's when I said Fuck these guys.

They have double digit strike outs in every damn game.

2nd and 3rd today, no outs, only score one run. Go on to lose...by one run. :facepalm  Kiermeier backwards K, Miller swinging K, Souza RBI single, Longoria intentional BB, Morrison fly out, inning over. Sigh...

Today the top 3 hitters in the 9th Dickerson, Kiermaier and Longoria all struck out. Twice with runners on first and third. and less than two outs, Longoria hit into double plays to end an inning.

Wow the worst fielding I have ever seen in a major league game. Rays win 8-7 on a two run error when the Tiger infielder tripped over second base.
