Thumbs up Congrats ArmoredSaint!

I just wanted to send you some Congrats as we here all know how you're feeling right now as we had that same awesome feeling 7 years ago!

Awesome game indeed as the Saint's showed a lot of heart. I have to admit that I also had a bit of a lump in my throat seeing the Saint's win it all as I was pulling for them big time as I grew up as a Saint's fan as a kid when they totally sucked as I grew up 2 hours from the Big Easy and my brother living in the Big Easy for over 30 years.

I have shared that story many times of course. I just wish I was attending Mardi Gras this year as I used to go every year and this year should be the best ever! I go back to the Archie Manning and Billy Kilmer days!

Enjoy it as it may never happen again in your lifetime, just like it may never happen again for the Buc's in my lifetime! The only regret I have is not going to San Diego for the game as now I wish that I would have as it would have been worth every penny and I almost did.

Congrats ArmoredSaint, youre one of the best other teamers (along with PantherFan) on this site and I hope you recover from last nights' hangover.

Thumbs up

I also have to give major props to the Saint’s fans for following their team to the SB! Me and my lady were out and about all weekend enjoying the SB festivities around Miami and everywhere we went there were tons of Saint’s fans!

We went to the Hard Rock for their SB party on Friday night up in Hollywood and the Saint’s fans outnumbered the Colt’s fans 10 to 1 at least and it was like that everywhere we went from South Beach to Ft. Lauderdale!

The game itself was like a home game for the Saint’s!

Congrats, indeed. Also, it looks like they are sitting pretty with no salary cap in the near future...

I noticed that watching the game. Sounded like a home game for the Aints.

Amen!!!

Long time Buccaneer fans can identify with Saint fans.

Enjoy!!

Congrats to Armored. Nice to see the NFCS banner being held high.

Since the SB winner plays on the opening Thursday night of the year....the obvious choice for the game will be Minny coming back in there for the rematch, or possibly Shitsburgh.

Thanks guys!!!!

You're right, 'Rino: I now know how you guys felt when the Bucs won it all a few years back. The air feels cleaner, food tastes better, etc.

I attended the Saints' last regular season game in the 1987 season at the Dome (We beat the Packers, 36-22). It was our first winning season and first trip to the playoffs. Alas, that special feeling was short-lived as we were thoroughly trounced by Minnesota, 44-6, in the Wild Card round. Since that year, it was a mish-mash of good years, so-so years and crappy years.

They say that winning cures all ills and they're right. Winning the Super Bowl has cured all the hurts endured throughout most of my team's 43-year history. We now belong to an exclusive club and it feels awesome, just friggin' awesome.

The NASCAR Division has its second championship.

What I want to know is....

Did they charge people for alchohol in that mass scene or just hand it out?

Isn't it nice to be in this club. And its great that the nasty Falcons and Panthers have to stand outside in the rain with their wet faces pressed against the club window staring at us while we are inside by the roaring fireplace smoking our cigars and drinking fine brandy! They are such cretins.

Jeeve, JEEVES, run those damn street urchins off. We are trying to enjoy our Porterhouse without having their slobbering mugs staring at us.

Just get ready for the heavy dose of "We are the Champions" on ALL of the local New Orleans radio stations. When the Bucs won it all on Jan '03,I got sick of that song.
I mean it was great for the first 30 times or so I heard it but damn, after those 30 times, it got old real quick.
