LEGAL POT Throughout California!
Y'all take notice...
The California Assembly is set to vote on a bill to make Mary Jane legal throughout the state...for any use desired, not just medical. The bill passed the committee 4-3 and goes for a floor vote now. Quote:
Well, I can just imagine Arnold "puffing up". The bill was set for a vote last Friday...but as usual, Sacramento is twiddling its thumbs. Maybe they need a toke before voting. Any one have the vote results?

I don't smoke pot, but I don't see anything wrong with it being legalized. Hell, I've never seen anyone on "pot rage". They're so damn docile it's hilarious. I'm sure Taco Bell has lobbied for its legalization too.

Don't smoke. No interest in it, no desire to start, too old to consider.
That having said, I favor legalization too. Legal before prohibition, not after. I've had to deal with drunks as a designated driver and stoners. I'd prefer to deal with stoners every day of the week. I tend to agree with NNUD's bit. What a waste of freaking jail space and money trying to prosecute stoners. I'd rather spend the same amount of money and go after real offenders.

I'm all for the legalization of pot. Unfortunately, I don't see it happening in Texas in the foreseeable future, even with a Democrat in the Governor's Mansion.

Especially with a Dem in the Gov's mansion. I fear only the GOP has the bonafides about being tough on crime to even pull it off (see NIXON GOES TO CHINA)
