    4-20 Mock draft....

If nothing else, Jesse provides some nice comedic relief during draft week. Helps to offset the shit show and fuckery that's sure to go down on Thursday night.

In the NFL's defense, the Bucs have had such a consistent run of success over the last decade. It makes sense to try and level the playing field with a difficult schedule.

    Cobb Crosses Last Goal Line

Ugh. Remember him well with the Bucs. Way too young. RIP.
  4. Dunn_Deal28

Last year, Licht threw a curve ball in the first round. Hopefully he does the same thing this year but I won't hold my breath.

The Moment When 2018 Turned to Mung

Wait a minute. So you mean to tell me that a shit offensive line and crappy play calls could have an impact on the team? According to the most informed, the Bucs' line rivals the 80's Redskins and the Koetter / Monken brain trust was the best in the league.
  6. Waiting for someone among the most informed to tout and peg this kid as a viable replacement for Winston.

    Good Read on Winston

And he did that while playing behind a shit offensive line, having no running game, and a defense that couldn't flip the field or even force a three and out. None of that matters though. Fuck Winston.

    Bucs football content

Does it bother anyone else that its April 18th and it already feels like the 2019 season is a lost cause?

    London Game

No way in hell would I incur the expenses to fly out to London, stay there, and watch the Bucs get their heads smashed in. I won't even pay for tickets and the gas to drive to see them play the Giants / Jets or Eagles.
  10. The fact that Joe felt the need to opine on that is pretty telling.

The Bucs' schedule always looks hard - I guess that's what happens when the team sucks. Fully expect the playoff win drought to continue through 2020.
  12. Thank goodness we dodged that bullet!
  13. In no particular order, in 2019, the Bucs will select a RB, DL, and OL. The 2020 draft will be used to address weakness at RB, DL, and OL.

If White's the pick at #5, might as well start speculating on the next GM of the Bucs. You don't take a MIKE backer at 5. Especially when there are legitimate franchise type talents along the defensive line.
  15. Dunn_Deal28

Probably? I think it's more likely than that. Couldn't imagine another scenario where Licht remained as GM.

https://www.tampabay.com/sports/bucs/2019/03/26/gerald-mccoys-future-with-the-bucs-seems-very-much-in-doubt/ One and a half feet out the door. Arians nailed it. For what McCoy is paid, he's simply not worth it. Appreciate his time with the Bucs but the days of kimonos and ice cream trucks are over.
  17. Dunn_Deal28

Yeah, I'm with you on Oliver. I thought for sure he'd be a top 5 pick but he's hovering in that 10-15 range. If there's a trade down, I'd be thrilled with him as the pick. Which means there's 0% chance of it happening.

    Blaine Gabbert SUCKS

Prepare yourself. First Winston interception of the season, a whole bunch of the most informed will be touting and pegging Gabbert as the solution. Upside. Talent. Knows Arians. Mobile. Just needs a chance and opportunity.
  19. At this rate, the next Bucs' 'legends' will be Josh Freeman and Myron Lewis.

    Non Buc Interesting Read

Yeah, talent wise, Rodgers is there with Brady and Brees. But I don't think people will look back at his career in the same way. He's been uncoachable and his contract is a big reason why he hasn't had much help in recent years.
  21. Licht's specialty is addressing a weakness in the off-season only for the roster to have the same exact weakness the following. How fucking long has this team been trying to find an adequate running back?
  22. Dunn_Deal28

It's going to happen. We all know it. Let's just sit back and enjoy the ride.
  23. Dunn_Deal28

Yep. Hurt feelings are an annual thing with McCoy. If he spent as much energy in the 4th quarter of games as he did pouting on social media, the Bucs might have done something crazy - like made the post-season during his tenure.
  24. Dunn_Deal28

McCoy was never a leader. He was drafted right at the height of the Youngry movement and was given the title by default. Rest of the roster was a bunch of no-names, rookies, and washed out vets. As the team continued to suck, McCoy's 'leadership' consisted of bitching about the fan base, incessantly talking to the media about badly he wants to win, and disappearing when winnable games were on the line. He seems like a nice enough guy. But he just wasn't good enough. I'd like to see him land with a team like the Patriots so he can have a taste of the playoffs. Time for both sides to move on.
  25. Dunn_Deal28

Yeah, it's probably going to happen. I'd almost be disappointed if it didn't. The Bucs being a shitty franchise is comforting in a weird way. Something you can just count on.
