  2. In defense of their decision... They might have intentionally brought Glennon in to lose the starting job to the rookie without creating a QB controversy.
  3. Yesterday
  4. Glennon did not fit with the Buccaneer fan base of llamas. He needs a fan base that is into giraffes.
  5. Not much of an arm. Not Mobile. Questionable accuracy. He is tall and has a beautiful wife.

  7. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/akiem-hicks-takes-shot-at-mike-glennon-while-discussing-colin-kaepernick/ar-BB14ZN2X?ocid=spartandhp Hicks voiced his opinion that Kaepernick had been blackballed by the NFL due to his national anthem protests. As evidence, he simply pointed to the fact that his team gave Mike Glennon a $45 million deal three years ago when Kaepernick had just left the San Francisco 49ers Hicks’ point was that the Bears could have signed Kaepernick, who had led the 49ers to a Super Bowl appearance. Instead, they signed Glennon and made him the starter. He went just 1-3 before being benched in favor of then-rookie Mitchell Trubisky. The Bears cut Glennon after just one year of his original three-year deal, and he hasn’t started for any other team since..
  8. Jeezus, you guys don't give him enough credit...... ...he's out by the 2nd OTA from advanced anal warts.
  9. He was the original BEAST MODE. Plus he was one of the most friendly players during the late 90's. Mister we could use a man like number 40 again... Yeah, those were the days.
  10. Power, determination, the epitome of the game. An inspirational player and a great guy. We were fortunate he was a Buc. There's no such thing as too much A-Train highlights to watch ...or watch again.
  11. Hated him at Purdue, where he did all kinds of damage to my Buckeyes. Was very happy to see him turn pro. One of my all-time favorites after that.
  12. Love that vid. OBVIOUSLY he was the team's biggest problem.
  13. Used to be a good player. Will be out with a bruised labia in game 2. Or game 1.
  14. Two more traits not mentioned, one plus, one minus. The plus is that he's a solid receiver out of the backfield - always a good thing and something the Bucs need. The minus is that he's been deficient in pass protection from day one, and never got good (or even average) at it. Something the Bucs definitely don't need. And finally, he badly overvalues himself. Maybe he and Winston have the same agent.
  15. He's our virus guy. He'll have it by week 1 and the Bucs will forfeit the first 4 games of the year after quarantining the team for a month.
  16. Used to be a good player. Will be out with a concussion in game 2. Or game 1.
  17. Good player who will be out with a concussion by game 2.
  18. From various sources but here is the one I am USING this one. I am a bit confused by this... Why are the Bucs interested in an RB that hasn't played a full season since 2016? Also, why are they interested in him after having what is already a pretty much filled out RB room? Hindsight being 20/20, we could have drafted some depth for either line. Also, why are we looking at a RB when we still have depth issues on both lines and daresay, the secondary? Saying that, I like Freeman. He runs very well and arm tackles don't bring him down. His biggest asset is his productivity in receiving. Being that I watch pretty much game in the NFC South at least two times a season, he impresses me. He kind of reminds me of Doug Martin in a way, but Freeman has better running skills. He is a downhill runner that with a biggish body size. He doesn't quit and is good at sitting in protection the exploding into a seam in zone coverages. Good hands and has overdrive, but not overly fast (4.58 40) and can be caught from behind. His biggest knock, to me at least, is he has missed time. He played 14 games in 2017 and 2019 missing all but 2 games in 2018. Not sure, but seems like he may have a bit of an injury issue. If it were me, I would say pass UNLESS we can get him at a good price. He has been offered a contract by the Seahawks and the Eagles, but has not signed yet. Unless it is a really Buc friendly deal, I say pass. All in all, I guess I would say pass as we really don't need Freeman IMHO. What say y'all? Just my $.02 and that's about all it's worth. Carry On.

  20. BTW, right concept wrong movie. It is a Fierce Creatures. Key cast members were the same including Kevin Kline, John Cleese, Jaimie Lee Curtis and Michael Palin. It is that film has the cheesy sponsorships for the zoo, It did have Carey Lovell. The other picture is Carey Lovell and Cleese's daughter. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119115/mediaviewer/rm3196870144 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119115/mediaviewer/rm1384930816 .
