Bucs V Redskins: RGIII Returns VS Bucs Defense..

RGIII makes his return to the Redskins this week, as he faces the near bottom ranked Bucs Defense, which allows more points than anyone.. exception being the Chicago Bears.

Rest assured, the Buccaneers will make RG3 look like Russell Wilson on his best day. Or a combination of Brady's brain and Vick's legs.

Something like that.

It's unlikely that Lovie Smith will be able to fill all the holes left by the inept Dominik in time for most of us to enjoy another winning season as fans.

Washington's defense is going to murder our Oline. I expect a few of McCown famous scrambled picks today.

As an aside, I am undergoing a colonoscopy tomorrow, so will be starting my prep shortly. Should I drink the lemon/lime chalky solution, or just watch the Bucs game? Both are expected to produce the same results. :ohcrap

Pretty humorous listening to AM radio here in DC. They are prepping for a "festival of football." Can't say I blame them, but a Buc win would equate to the doors coming completely off. I'm hoping we win just because the talk shows will be more entertaining this week if that happens.

Just don't do both. Lethal dehydration could put you in the hospital.

What defense shows up 2nd half?

Although a lot of the first half was Washington's self inflicted wounds it was nice to see some flash from our defense. Our defense might actually have some life in it.

I'm betting no defense shows up. That's how we roll.

It was nice to see them play well.

Skins oline gave us that game, made our front 4 look great.

Jay Gruden called some strange plays. I know RG3 missed a few deep throws, but throwing behind the LOS on every other play is ridiculous. I dont know how he thinks that's gonna work on most of those situations.
In a cripple fight, at least our cripples came out with the W.

In the other hand, we're fucking the draft dog right in the face. As others have said, we'll win just enough games to miss out on the premier players in the draft and be forced to settle for more mediocrity.

Like it ever was.

Mike Evans was far from mediocre even though he is a plodder.

He clearly demonstrated 5th round quality today. He's no Mike Williams, that's a fact.

Evans is only making plays because former Gator Louis Murphy is drawing 11 and sometimes 12 defenders.

Watching the game for the first time this morning, think RGIII gets fined for the helmet to helmet on Banks pick and score? Banks looked shaken up going to the sideline.

I saw that hit and wondered why there was no flag. Didn't catch that it was RG3 that hit him. I was at a party surrounded by soon to be miserable DC football club fans. Had to watch my back.

Refereeing has been at its all time worst. Combine the ultra pussification of the sport, the additional rules and the inconsistent but accelerated calling of penalties, especially pass intereference, and Fuck Me Larry.

The Lions got absolutely gang raped by the refs yesterday. Not that I give a shit about the Lions.

RG3 throws his teammates under the bus with a stupid comment.

I would argue that great QB's make the guys around them better but RG3 would rather blame other people for his suckage. In his head he is great apparently but his play suggests otherwise.

Didn't think you can get a helmet to helmet on a ball carrier which is what Banks is considered at that point.

If we could just play a Gruden offense every week we'd be fine.

I hear the other GM's  in the league have offered to pay Chuck's salary if someone will hire him as head coach again, LOL.

Only thing better from a DC's perspective than one Gruden in the league, is two Gruden-like offenses in the league.

Easy win, easy call.   And we move on.

Weren't you here a few weeks ago touting this Gruden's win over the Cowboys? Or did you delete that thread already?

And we move on...
